Problem Statement
Currently digital management system can account all the management queries. So Maharashtra(India) government is looking for a school transportation management system. They want to track and record school management and transportation service provided. With the help of Road Transportation Officers(RTO), they can facilitate an ease for Parents. Parents, can track their children location before and after reaching
the school.
Purpose (Objective)
The purpose of the project is to interlink the school management, Parents and Road Transportation Officers(RTO). To track and record, the school transportation and management system. So government can account for the system provided and help
the citizens.
Quantative Research
The first phase SBMC is User Reserch where we understand the product , User need and User flow i.e Parents,School management and Road Transportaion Officer(RTO).
- Education is a the most basic thing any child requires and along with it there is infrastructure attached to it as well
- According to 2011 census Madhya Pradesh has a literacy rate of 70.60% A report from the HRD ministry states, the state has a total of 153392 schools with a combined total of 1,91,62,324 students enrolled till Class XII which has increased by now.
- Increasing number of accidents in School Vehicles with students today a major concern.
- Multiple reasons associated with the accidents.
Field Study
Primary User : PARENTS
- They are the primary user of this SBMS. Where they will interact using mobile
- application.
- To receive the real time information of their children. So that they can see the transit position of the school bus.
- The time require to reach the destination and route covered.
- In case of Emergency they can call and file complain to the school management.
Secondary User: SCHOOLS
- They are the Secondary user of this SBMS. Where they manages all the
- Records of Students, Buses, Drivers and Complaints.We will providing them with a Dashboard that reflects the transit
- position of each buses running. Statistics of students, buses, drivers and
- complaints. So that they have all the
- account of information of each person into the system.
Tertiary User : RTO
- They are the Tertiary user of this SBMS. Where they manages all the records of Schools, Students, Buses, Drivers and Complaints.We will providing them with a Dashboard that reflects the transit
- position of each buses running. Statistics of school running,
- students, buses, drivers and complaints. So that they have all the account of
- information of each person into the system.

A map system is integrated to the software for real time plotting of the vehicles on a map. Monitoring centres can view this map displayed on a web browser.
Constraints
Use case arises, when one parent have 2or more children, going separate schools. So either they have have the option to login separetely. This create a mess in the use case scenario.
